DAS Direct Access Scheme.

 
To take a DAS course you must be least 21 years old.
The course is designed to teach you the skills that will keep you safe for life and to pass a practical test. When this course is successfully completed you will be able to ride any size motorcycle without restriction.
 
  1. Each course starts with a CBT. This will be taken on a 125cc provided by FMCT.
  2. You must pass a motorcycle Theory test. This can be booked by FMCT on your behalf , or you can book online at www.dsa.gov.uk
  3. Once you have completed your CBT you can then progress onto a 500cc motorcycle ( provided by FMCT).
  4. If you are a novice rider your instructor may suugest that you take further training on a 125cc motorcycle before going onto a 500cc motorcycle

Please note that you can complete a CBT and take further training whilst waiting for your theory test, however we (FMCT) cannot book a practical test on your behalf until you have passed your theory test.

Training on a 500cc
  • All of your training will be with a fully qualified, DSA approved instructor.
  • All of our instructors are very patient and friendly.
  • Any training or advice given will be professional and appropriate for your training needs.
  • The Instructors will make your training enjoyable and will teach you to a standard above that required by the DSA to pass a test.
