1. It is the pupils' responsibility to make a note of the time, date, collection and drop-off point of all driving lessons agreed with the Instructor.
2 If you (the pupil) need to alter any lesson or meeting place, you should attempt to notify the Instructor at least 48 hours prior to the lesson.
3. If you (the pupil) fail to attend for a lesson for whatever reason, the Instructor reserves the right to refuse to offer further training.
4. The fee for the driving lesson must be paid to the Instructor at the beginning of each lesson. If a block of 10 lessons has been paid for, the Instructor will notify the Pupil when all 10 lessons have been taken at which time the Pupil can then pay for a further 10 lessons or pay hourly at the normal non-discounted rate.
5. The Instructor will advise you (the Pupil) when to book the practical test and the Pupil must notify the Instructor immediately of the booking. If the booking is made at 'short notice' and the Instructor cannot take the Pupil for the test for whatever reason then the Instructor and FDT will endeavour to find another Instructor who may be able to assist. However, if this is not possible, neither the Instructor not FDT can be held responsible or liable for any costs incurred including, but not limited to, loss of the DSA test fee.
6. The FDT office will be happy to book either a Theory or Practical test on behalf of the Pupil. The Instructor will advise current fees. The fees can be paid to the Instructor or direct to the FDT office, by cash or cheque (which should be made payable to Frisby). Test fees must be paid before tests can be booked.
7. FDT will notify the Pupil of any test booking made by FDT but cannot be held responsible or liable for any costs incurred including, but not limited to, loss of the DSA test fee if the Pupil is unable to attend for test and fails to notify FDT before the last date of cancellation as prescribed by the DSA.
8. The Instructor reserves the right to withhold the use of his/her vehicle at any time including, but not limited to, use of the vehicle for DSA practical test, if he/she considers that it would be unsafe to continue. The Instructor will not be liable to any loss incurred as a result of such action. The Instructor will not be liable for any costs whatsover arising from bulb failure at the DSA test centre, including but not limited to, DSA test fees, where the functioning of such bulbs is not a legal requirement unless negligence can be proved.
